Trading involves significant risk
What you should understand before purchasing a Challenge. Plain language, no hidden caveats.
The bottom line: Our service is a simulated trading environment. You are paying for an evaluation challenge. If you pass, you earn commissions based on simulated performance. Most participants do not pass on their first try. Your Challenge Fee is at risk.
Read all 10 sections before purchasing. If anything is unclear, contact support@coinhubfunded.com before agreeing.
Nature of our service
Our service is not investment management, brokerage, or financial advice. We do not hold client funds, do not facilitate real-market trades, and do not provide investment recommendations.
No investment advice
Nothing on the Coinhub Funded platform - including our website, marketing materials, support communications, or educational content - constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
We do not recommend that you trade any particular instrument, employ any particular strategy, or make any particular investment decision. Trading involves significant risk, and any decision to trade is yours alone.
Past performance disclaimer
Any performance figures, trader testimonials, leaderboards, or success stories displayed on our platform reflect past results in a simulated environment. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
Examples of trader payouts or earnings shown on our platform are anecdotal. The majority of traders who attempt evaluation challenges do not pass, and the majority of those who do are not retained as funded traders over the long term. Your individual results may vary and may be substantially worse than the examples shown.
General risks of trading
Even in a simulated environment, trading skill is built by exposure to the same market dynamics as live trading. The following risks apply to the practice of trading generally and should be understood before participating:
- Market risk: Prices of financial instruments are volatile and can move adversely
- Leverage risk: Leverage amplifies both gains and losses. Small price movements can result in significant P&L swings.
- Liquidity risk: Some instruments (especially small-cap crypto and low-liquidity instruments) may be difficult to enter or exit at desired prices during volatile periods
- Gap risk: Markets can move significantly between sessions, especially over weekends. Positions held through these periods may experience large P&L changes.
- Slippage: The price at which your order is filled may differ from the price you intended
- Strategy risk: No trading strategy works in all market conditions. What worked in the past may stop working.
Crypto-specific risks
Cryptocurrency markets present heightened risks compared to traditional financial markets:
- Extreme volatility: Crypto prices can move 20%+ in a single day
- 24/7 markets: No daily close or weekend break - positions are continuously exposed
- Regulatory uncertainty: The regulatory status of cryptocurrencies varies by jurisdiction and is subject to change
- Network risks: USDT and other cryptocurrencies depend on underlying blockchain networks that may experience congestion, outages, or technical issues
- Wallet security: You are solely responsible for the security of your USDT wallet. Lost private keys cannot be recovered.
Evaluation challenge risks
By purchasing a Challenge, you acknowledge:
- Your Challenge Fee is at risk — if you do not pass the evaluation and do not qualify for a refund under the published rules, the fee is forfeited
- Statistically, most traders who attempt prop firm evaluations do not pass on their first attempt
- Achieving Funded status does not guarantee ongoing income — Funded Accounts can be closed if drawdown rules are breached
- The Challenge environment is designed to identify disciplined traders; it is not a guaranteed path to income
Taxation
Payouts received from Coinhub Funded may constitute taxable income in your jurisdiction. The tax treatment of crypto-denominated commissions varies significantly by country.
You are solely responsible for:
- Determining the tax treatment of Payouts in your jurisdiction
- Reporting income to relevant tax authorities
- Paying any taxes owed
- Maintaining records sufficient to support your tax reporting
Coinhub Funded does not provide tax advice. Consult a qualified tax professional in your jurisdiction.

- You cannot afford to lose the Challenge Fee
- You are using funds you need for living expenses, debt servicing, or essential commitments
- You do not understand how trading works at a fundamental level
- You are emotionally or financially in a position where losses would cause significant distress
